About pap.md

pap.md is an independent site that tracks the Personal Agent Protocol. It isn't run by Sierra, Meta or any PAP partner, and nobody involved in PAP has reviewed it.

We started it the day PAP was announced, because the announcement came without a spec and the gap filled up fast with guesses. Blog posts were already describing discovery URLs and scope names that nobody had published. We'd rather say "not announced" than make something up.

How we work

• Sources first. Every page lists its sources. Sierra's October 6 post is the primary one until the spec ships.
• Dated. Each page shows when we last checked it against those sources.
• No invented details. No endpoint paths, scope tables, token lifetimes, licenses or repositories until they're published.
• Opinions are labelled. When we give our own read, the text says so.
• Changes are logged on the status page and in the RSS feed.

Names and trademarks

Personal Agent Protocol, Sierra, Meta, Muse and the partner names belong to their owners. We use them to describe the protocol, not to suggest endorsement.
